Biography 
Attended  Syracuse University for a BFA in painting and illustration but saw the movie Tron.  The future was computer graphics.  At the time the university had a program for custom majors. I designed a 'BFA in computer graphics' degree composed of computer science, math and art . After graduating, I then  worked in computer graphics for most of my career.  ​   That being said...

Paint is tactile....     no bits, no bytes. 
Paint is plastic...     mold it 
Paint is liquid.....     let it drip, swirl and blend
Paint is color......     what you really mean
Paint is form......      to be, or not to be
