Through painting I explore  my experience  with the world.  I am drawn to the relationships between opposites.  Painting is an opportunity to explore the connections and  chaos between.  I  work in opposites equally:  watercolor and oils.   My painterly 'raison d'être' is to  combine aspects of each in painting.

I attended  Syracuse University for a BFA in painting and illustration.  Early in  my studies  I saw the movie Tron and decided that computer graphics was the future.  At the time S.U.  had a program for custom majors. I designed a 'BFA in computer graphics' degree composed of computer science, math. After graduating cum-laude , I then  worked in computer graphics for most of my career.

Paint is tactile....     no bits, no bytes.
